Co-founder and CEO of BrewDog USA Inc James Watt commented;

“Above all else, we care about two things; our beer and our people. Our mission is to make other people as passionate about amazing craft beer as we are, and our strategy is to shorten the distance between the people who make our beers, and the people who drink them. During this recruitment drive, we’ll be looking to surface incredible, talented people who live and breathe craft beer. People who believe in our mission, and can match our passion for amazing beer by the bucket load. If this sounds like you, we’ll see you in Columbus.”

Scotland’s successful craft beer export, BrewDog, launched in 2007 and its hop-forward, hardcore beer lineup quickly garnered a community of craft beer enthusiasts both in the UK and overseas. The brewery is laser-focused on its mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as they are, and has experienced great success with its international crowdfunding programme, Equity for Punks. More than 50,000 people have joined the ranks of BrewDog’s international community of craft beer crusaders, an initiative that has fuelled its opening in America.

BrewDog’s co-founders, James Watt & Martin Dickie are also the co-hosts of the longest running beer TV show, Brew Dogs, which airs on the Esquire network. Over three seasons, the brewing duo has blazed a trail across the States and beyond, creating boundary-pushing beers with some of the world’s most enigmatic breweries. Episodes have seen James & Martin brew beer on a moving train in San Diego, hit up Vegas to make the world’s most expensive beer, and set up a brewing operation on a swamp in New Orleans.

 BrewDog in Scotland now exports to 60 countries worldwide, and operates 46 craft beer bars around the world. Its US brewery will create the opportunity for BrewDog to meet the high demand for its beers in America.

About BrewDog

Since 2007 BrewDog has been on a mission to make other people as passionate about great craft beer as we are. From the Headliner series, which includes bold, uncompromising pack leaders like the flagship Punk IPA, to the Amplified range (beer, but turned up to 11), BrewDog creates beer that blows people’s minds and has kick-started a revolution.

Cofounders James Watt and Martin Dickie shook up the business world in 2010 with the launch of pioneering crowdfunding scheme Equity for Punks, an initiative that has seen the company raise $33 million* over four rounds, taking more money through crowdfunding than any other on record. The funds, and the army of punk shareholders (46,000) enabled the Scottish craft brewery to scale up without selling out.

With over 46 global bar launches, export into 60 countries, and a brand new brewery in Ohio opening in 2017, BrewDog continues to take the craft beer revolution stratospheric, whilst continuing to push the boundaries, invest in people, put the beer first, and champion other small breweries in its venues.
